SCHOOL RESUMES SEPTEMBER 6

School resumes on Tuesday September 6, 2011.

We will begin the first day of school with an assembly in the gymnasium at 9:00 am, after which students will be taken to their respective classrooms.

School resumes on Monday, January 3, 2011. Please ensure your child arrives on time and is prepared for school.

CURRICULUM NIGHT – SEPTEMBER 29th @ 7:00 p.m.

IIT ACADEMY will be holding its Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 29th, starting with Salaatul Maghrib at 7:00 p.m.

Teachers will be providing parents with an outline of the curriculum, teaching strategies, curriculum expectations and other issues related to the curriculum. Individual student performance will not be discussed. If you have a concern about your child’s performance, please schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher for another time.

SCHOOL RESUMES SEPTEMBER 7

School resumes on September 7, 2010 for JK, SK, grades 1 – 3.

We will begin the first day of school with an assembly in the gymnasium at 9:00 am, after which students will be taken to their respective classrooms.

Please make note of the following:

Tuition fees are payable through post-dated cheques, which must be submitted before the first day of school. Registration & school supplies fees must also be paid prior to the first day of school.
School begins at 8:45 am sharp. Please ensure that your child arrives on time.
Please ensure that your child is prepared for school. This includes a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast. You are also required to send a snack and a healthy lunch for your child.
Children in JK will be taking a nap in the afternoon. Please send a small blanket and pillow with your child’s name on it.
To minimize interruptions, parents will not be allowed to enter the classroom, or to have an unscheduled interview with the teacher. Parents who wish to have a discussion with the teacher must schedule an interview in advance.
The school offers a before-school (from 8:00 am) and after-school (from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm) care program for an additional fee of $100/month. Students who are not picked up by 3:45 pm will be placed in after-care for a fee of $3/day.
